Jason McHugh
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Jason is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Propellint, with over 20 years of experience in software development and delivery in the insurance industry.
As a Vice President and member of the Senior Leadership Team at Insurity, Jason drove the success of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). In this role, Jason oversaw 100+ parallel implementation projects, with 500+ employees and contractors matrixed into the EPMO.
He partnered closely with sales, working to close new opportunities and onboard clients. During his time at Insurity, Jason managed a team of experts to build a world class Project Management and Delivery Framework.
With passion and robust experience in the project management insurance space, Jason created Propellint with his business partner, Tom Jaspering, and a team of world-class technology professionals to provide a boutique customer experience from the planning phase throughout the business cycle.
Tom Jaspering
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Tom is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Propellint, with over 25 years of technical architecture, design, and product development experience in the insurance industry.
As Chief Architect at Systema Software (acquired by Insurity), Tom was a founding developer of the ClaimsXPress platform (f/k/a SIMS), revolutionizing the Claims Systems space.
In addition to hands-on development and management throughout the product life cycle, Tom played an integral role in the creation of agile platform integration strategies for several businesses.
Tom’s enthusiasm and expertise in insurance technology development drove him to partner with Jason McHugh and a team of elite IT professionals to create Propellint. Tom leverages his deep knowledge of claims technology to create custom integration solutions for businesses nationwide.

Ambili Varma
Principal Consultant
Ambili is a Pricipal Consultant at Propellint with 23 years of experience in the IT space and over 4 years of experience working on the Insurity ClaimsXPress platform (f/k/a SIMS).
In addition to the ClaimsXPress platform, Ambili has worked as a iVOS developer for Ventiv Technology (formerly AON eSolutions). She also has experience as a Solutions Architect and has played a key role in several EDI implementations.

Principal Consultant
Eric is a Pricipal Consultant at Propellint with over 23 years of experience implementing enterprise software in a variety of industries, and 8+ years of experience with the Insurity ClaimsXPress platform (f/k/a SIMS).
Eric was a senior leader in Professional Services at Insurity/Systema. He also has spent several years as an IT developer, a business analyst, and an implementation manager for various companies, including for Ventiv Technology (iVOS). Eric’s background provides a unique skill set of business, functional and technical expertise.
Louise Sparks
Principal Consultant
Louise is a Pricipal Consultant at Propellint with over 30 years of experience in commercial claims specializing in workers’ compensation, with 16 of those years spent in various claims management positions.
Louise has worked as a Claims Manager implementing iVOS, as a business SME providing client support for Ventiv Technology, and as a Solutions Architect for Insurity. At Insurity, she implemented over a dozen integrations for insurance companies, third party administrators, and self-insureds on the Insurity ClaimsXPress platform (f/k/a SIMS).
Rajesh Kumar
Principal Consultant
Rajesh is a Pricipal Consultant at Propellint with 23 years of experience in software development and implementation, over 14 years of those spent in the insurance industry, and 7 years specifically on the Insurity ClaimsXPress platform (f/k/a SIMS).
Rajesh has worked on multiple small and large data migration and integration projects, managed data service teams, and has a deep knowledge of relational databases, reconciliation, data warehousing and SaaS technologies.
Alamelu Chidambaram
Principal Consultant
Alamelu is a Principal Consultant at Propellint with 22 years of experience in the software industry, over 15 years of those spent in the insurance industry, conceptualizing and deploying projects ranging from process management, system enhancements, and product configurations.
Alamelu has over 5 years of experience with customizing and extending Insurity ClaimsXPress platform for various enterprise customers. Alamelu also has extensive experience in developing and customizing IVos application with various technologies such as Java, Spring Framework, Jasper, Struts etc.
